Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ParcelTrack Pro (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the ParcelTrack Pro browser extension and the website parceltrackpro.online (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. The short version

  • There is no account, login, email or password. We identify your install with a random local ID, not a personal identity.
  • The tracking numbers you add are stored to power the extension.
  • Optional, domain-level usage analytics — including which tabs you have open and an approximate, city-level location derived from your IP — are collected only if you turn on the “Track visited URLs” toggle, which is off by default.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information we handle

DataWhyWhen
Tracking numbers & package labels you addTo fetch and show shipment statusWhen you add a parcel
Random install IDTo keep your extension settings working without an accountOn install
Install / uninstall status of that random IDTo distinguish active installs from removed onesOn install and uninstall

Domain-level browsing signals (e.g. “fedex.com”), not full URLs, titles, or page content — including the domains of your currently open tabs and which one is activeTo auto-detect tracking pages, improve the Service, and show live usage in our internal dashboardOnly if you enable “Track visited URLs”
Approximate location (city/region/country), resolved from your IP address via a third-party lookup — never GPS or device locationShown alongside usage data in our internal dashboardOnly if you enable “Track visited URLs”

3. Carrier lookups

To show status, tracking numbers are sent to the relevant carrier or a tracking-data provider to retrieve delivery information. Those parties process the data under their own terms.

4. How we use information

  • Provide, maintain and improve tracking features.
  • Send you delivery/status notifications you enable.
  • Diagnose problems and keep the Service secure.
  • Show relevant third-party content or promotions that keep the Service free (see Section 6).

5. Sharing

We share data only with: (a) carriers/tracking-data providers to fulfil lookups; (b) service providers (hosting, analytics) acting on our behalf; (c) authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Third-party promotions

To offer the Service for free, we may display content, features or promotions from third parties. Interacting with them may be governed by those parties' privacy policies.

7. Your choices & rights

  • Keep “Track visited URLs” off (default) to avoid domain-level analytics.
  • Remove parcels in the extension at any time.
  • Uninstall the extension to stop all collection and remove locally stored data — see our Uninstall page.
  • Depending on your location (e.g. GDPR/CCPA), you may request access, correction or deletion. See Your Privacy Choices or email us.

8. Data retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Locally stored data is removed when you delete parcels or uninstall.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; we'll revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may be highlighted in the extension or on this site.
